Now we living since 2 years and four month at Quebec. I like this country, we have real seasons, grand landscapes, many forest and wild animals, maple syrup, pumpkin fields…And Canada is so huge, it will take us many years for visit it, moreover, it has several differents landscapes it’s will be so interesting to discover all of them !
However, sometimes I miss the ruins and also old architecture like in europe. Especially, I love since I’m a child the megalithic stones rows; it’s so mysterious, I feel like I can feel the vibes let by our ancestors and their gods. It’s my favorite place for some meditation. I met the most of them in Brittany, a France region where the fairytales, and superstitions are still alive. There are not land or old ruins which have not their korrigans or devil story. On the cliffs, when the wind blowing hard you can hear some voice from ghost or maybe it’s voices from mermaids or fairies…If you walk in the Huelgoat forest, you can present your respects to the tomb of King Arthur (my hero), and if you want you can follow the steps of Merlin in the Broceliande forest. Please, be careful during the night if you hearing the creaking of a cart, it’s probably Lord Ankou who is carrying a dead. Don’t mess with him.
But Brittany would not be complete without her music and celtic festivals, without her tasty cider and her crêpes covered of salted butter fudge (since I’m vegan I found how reproduce it without cruelty, it’s tastes the same). Her sea, of course, and her wonderful villages like Lokorn. I’m lucky because I lived 2 years in Kemper, and my dad has a centenary house next to Lokorn, so it’s my pilgrimage when I visit him to dream in this beautiful place. And you ? Where is the place where you feel really like home ?
